Marriage
Congratulations on your upcoming ceremony! A Marriage license costs $50 dollars, after the license has been issued to you, it must be given to the Officiant performing your ceremony. It is his/her responsibility to complete and return the license to the Salisbury Town Clerk’s Office. Once the license has been received from your Officiant, you may then come in to request a copy of your marriage certificate. A $15 dollar fee applies for the issuance of one certified copy of your vital record, additional copies purchased at the same time are $10 dollars each. If either of you plan to change your name after you are married, RSA 263:9 Notice of Change of Licensee’s Name or Address, requires that you change your name with the NH Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) within 30 days of the date of you’re married. Failure to do so within that time frame will require you to obtain a legal name change through the court system.

Dissolutions
A $15 dollar fee applies for the issuance of one certified copy of your vital record, additional copies purchased at the same time are $10 dollars each. There is an Application for a Certified Copy of a Vital Record that must be filled out and you must have a valid driver’s license with you at the time of the request.
